The Legend of Secret Pass
Spring 2008: You will be able to hear my voice in the movie theatre ! I have recently returned from doing vocals on the soundtrack for an upcoming feature animation film which will be released in the spring. The film is called "The Legend of Secret Pass" and the score was written by the truly gifted Peter Kater, whose music I have admired for years. I am the voice of the Spirit Wind (of course!) Working on this was one of the pinnacle experiences of my life and I hope you all love it! You can find out more about the film at www.imdb.com.

Fall 2008: An as yet untitled recording in honor of several Canadian artists who have been sources of inspiration for me over the years. I really don't know what it is about the “folks upstairs” but I have always resonated with Canadian artists. Yes, I know KD Lange did an album like this, but it begs to be done again...plus I have been dreaming about doing this since long before KD's was released. What can I say except great minds think alike! I will be doing songs by Bruce Cockburn, Joni Mitchell, Daniel Lanois, the McGarrigle Sisters, Leonard Cohen, and of course, Neal Young and Cowboy Junkies.
Retrospective
Kate is currently working on a two CD retrospective spanning the Hungry Moon, Dreams of Annwfn, Not Far From Here which are out of print. Also included will be bonus tracks never before heard! This will be the “Artist’s Choice” collection: pieces that she has chosen just for you. Anticipated release date: Spring 2008
Solo Dulcimer
Kate has written a body of ambient, meditative dulcimer based compositions over the past several years. This will be a beautiful collection of tender and reflective melodies and is yet untitled. Anticipated release date: TBA
The Music of Atria
Kate has appointed herself ethno-musicologist for the planet Atria, an Earthlike planet revealed in the writings of Stuart Malin. This recording will surely prove to be Kate’s most adventurous and exotic work to date. Anticipated release date: unknown
